Oven Steamed Barramundi with Dill Caper Butter

Tender Australian barramundi fillets oven-steamed en papillote with vibrant asparagus, briny capers, fresh dill, and saucy rich butter.

Oven Steamed Barramundi with Dill Caper Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets of Australian barramundi
  • 50g of capers, drained
  • 3 sprigs of dill, chopped
  • 50g butter, cubed
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, tailed
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Line baking tray with aluminum foil then baking paper on top.
  3. In center of baking paper place barramundi, asparagus then top with capers, dill and butter.
  4. Season with salt, pepper then fold aluminum and baking paper to create a wrapped parcel around the barramundi.
  5. Oven steam for 25 mins and open carefully to serve.
